ICMSA urges co-ops to deliver 27cpl for September milk

Hard-pressed dairy farmers urgently need their co-ops to deliver a jump in the milk price, said ICMSA dairy chairman Gerald Quain.

Glanbia Ingredients Ireland has announced that it will pay its suppliers 26c per litre, including Vat, for their September milk.

GII has increased its base price by 2cpl to 25 cpl for manufacturing milk at 3.6% fat and 3.3% protein.
