When the robotic milking machine came into existence a number of years ago, I feared that we were heading down the wrong road entirely in the business of farming.

And now, with the invention of the driverless tractor, I fear technology once again doesn’t know its arse from its elbow, with regards to our real farming needs.

The problem with all these advancements, to my mind, is that it’s not in these areas where we actually need help most of all.
