Tom O’Dwyer, head of Teagasc’s dairy knowledge transfer programme, wants farmers to review their grass and winter feed budgeting, and cashflow management.

“The three key steps are: review performance, identify the problems, and review the options. Farmers need a realistic, detailed budget to measure performance, identify problem areas, and predict cashflow.”
