Improvements at Gator and T670 ends of John Deere’s product range
They have added to their Gator utility vehicle lineup with the introduction of the XUV560 and XUV560 S4.
The 4x4s now have an occupant protective structure with three point seat belts and side grab handles.
Both models offer sealed under-hood storage and feature a large, one-piece cargo box made of non-rusting, low-noise material.
One-hand operation allows the tailgate to be opened or removed.
The Gator XUV560 and XUV560 S4 come standard with four-wheel independent suspension
They are powered by a 570cc, V-twin petrol engine, with a top speed of 45 km/h.
At the other end of their machinery range, John Deere has announced significant enhancements for 2017 in the T670 model straw walker combine.

“The new model year T670 combine has one of the largest active separation areas and largest cleaning shoe of any walker combine on the market today,” says Terry DeMay of John Deere.
“We’ve increased productivity by 15% in wheat, and unloading rates by 50%.”
Design changes to improve threshing speed, throughput, and straw and grain quality include bigger overshot beaters, concaves, separator drums and grates.
There also changes easier changeover from crop to crop.
For more convenient servicing and cleanout, this new T-series comes with an optional factory-installed 16-gallon air compressor with 33-foot hose and three quick-coupler points to access different areas of the machine.
