Winter cereal yield potential ‘moderate to good’

Winter cereal crop yield potential is moderate to good, after strong recent growth, said advisers in this week’s ConnectEd update from Teagasc.

Spring cereals have caught up, and are now at the normal growth stage for the time of year.

Many advisors and growers are reporting red-purple lesions on winter oats.
