Airborne Tellus geophysical survey moves to the southeast

A small aircraft will traverse the sky over eastern Waterford, parts of southern Tipperary and Kilkenny, and western Wexford, collecting geological information over the coming month.

It’s the next phase of Tellus, a mapping project which collects geochemical and geophysical data on rocks, soil and water across Ireland.

The resulting data can bring positive economic, environmental and agricultural benefits.
