Spudlove search for best grower in 2016

Bord Bia and GIY (Grow It Yourself) have announced details of a nationwide competition for potato growers.

Competitors are offered a Spud Off Tool Kit to ensure even the greenest of growers can’t go wrong.

Founder of GIY, Michael Kelly, says growing potatoes is straightforward: “Stick a spud in the ground and it turns into a plant that produces 10-12 spuds.”
