ABP food group to expand its presence in Poland

ABP Poland has filed a request to the Polish competition watchdog, revealing plans to acquire the assets of Polish beef processor Sklodowscy-Tykocin.

The Irish-based company has operated since 2002 in west Poland, where it has two plants.

The targeted beef processor in Tykocin in east Poland has capacity to process 4800 cattle per months.
