Stephen Cadogan: IFA figures challenging but could have been worse

The number of fully paid-up members eligible to vote in the upcoming IFA elections stands at 75,501, said IFA National Chairman Jer Bergin last week.

That compares with 88,000 farmers contributing to the Association in 2013.

The 14% reduction sums up the damage done by revelations last November of IFA’s internal workings.
