A quarterly fuel price survey by the Irish Farmers Association has revealed that the cost of agricultural diesel has fallen by 20%.

But it also shows that farmers in Kerry, Limerick, Mayo and Westmeath continue to pay above the national average of 51.16c per litre.

IFA Inputs Project Team chairman James McCarthy called on suppliers to reduce fuel prices in line with declining oil prices internationally.
