Property: Big interest likely in rich farmland holding in Co Cork

It may not be in the Golden Vale, but a current offering from Clonakilty-based auctioneers Hodnett-Forde is in an area of high-quality land close to an important dairy processing plant.

The Carbery cheese company is a couple of kilometres north of the townland of Buddrimeen, where an 18-acre holding is for sale.

“It’s very good quality land, laid out in pasture, in a number of fields. It is located about 3km south of Ballineen village,” says John Hodnett, selling agent.
