Farmers set to use climate prediction tools

Speaking at the Agricultural Science Associationâs Climate Change Forum at The Horse & Jockey Hotel, Co Tipperary, ASA vice-president Mary Delaney said a more effective advisory system is required if we are to make an impact at individual farm level.
âHighly skilled agricultural advisers and consultants are required to raise awareness of the climate change challenge at farm level and provide practical solutions to farmers in a simple and relevant manner as we work towards sustainable intensification,â she said.
