Technology: Foton Lovol of China has global market ambitions

The biggest Chinese manufacturer of agricultural machinery has been dipping its toe in the EU market in recent months, starting with the Agritechnica show in Germany last November.

Foton Lovol produces 100,000 tractors and 50,000 combine harvesters every year, and has a turnover of €3.15bn.

Its European subsidiary, Lovol Arbos, has launched its Arbos brand of tractors and combine harvesters in Europe.
