Nativity knit took up over 200 hours for Ennistymon ICA members
But once they got going last autumn, it proved a lot more difficult than anticipated, and there were numerous minor glitches — how to make the figures stand upright, how to make the animals’ ears, tails and legs look natural, sewing on the eyes so the figures didn’t squint, how to knit a star and prevent it from flopping!
Each member took on the task of producing at least one figure.
