Top titles for top Seandún Macra members in Kinsale
The Seandún Macra Final of Titles night was held in the Trident Hotel, Kinsale, Co Cork, with the titles of Mr Personality, Blue Jean County Queen, Miss Macra, and Queen of the Land all up for grabs.
Private interviews were held with a panel of judges from various Macra regions before public interviews.
Kinsale member Daniel O’Regan conducted the on-stage interviews and quizzed contestants on their involvement in Macra, hobbies, and also their most embarrassing moment, which produced some very highly- entertaining stories.
Contestants were then given the opportunity to demonstrate their various talents and party pieces, which included singing, voice impersonations, and stand-up comedy.
Darren Cremin of Knockraha Macra was named Seandún’s Mr Personality, while the region’s Blue Jean County Queen is Patrice Dunlea of UCC Macra.
Aislinn Collins of Carrigaline Macra will represent Seandún in the Miss Macra competition, while Eillish O’Callaghan of Knockraha Macra was crowned the region’s Queen of the Land representative.
All qualify for the national rounds of the competitions which take place during the year.
First up is the Mr Personality contest, which takes place in Kilkenny in April.
