The Teagasc 2030 Foresight initiative aims to identify and investigate key technologies for the Irish agri-food and bioeconomy sector, with the help of about 200 leading national and international experts from scientific disciplines and academic institutions, and industry and policy stakeholders.

The continuous development and application of new knowledge and new technologies are crucial to realising national policy objectives for the sector, according to Teagasc.
