Origin Enterprises adds two board members

Origin Enterprises has named two new non-executive directors. Kate Allum and Christopher Richards join the board, following the appointments of Gary Britton and Rose Hynes.

Ms Allum is a non-executive director at Cranswick, where she is a member of the audit and the remuneration and nomination committee.

She has also held senior roles in the food and agricultural sector, including CEO of First Milk Ltd and head of European supply chain for McDonald’s Restaurants.

Mr Richards has more than 30 years international experience in the agriculture industry and farms in the west of England.

He is chairman of Plant Health Care, a non-executive director of Dechra Pharmaceuticals, and a non-executive director of Cibus Global.

He spent 20 years in leadership roles with Syngenta and its predecessor companies before serving as CEO and, later, non-executive chairman of Arysta LifeScience.
