Macra news: Macra calendar puts mental health in focus

Macra members were out in force at this week’s National Ploughing Championships, with the organisation’s focus on positive mental health.

Members spending time at the ploughing at Ratheniska were urged to make the most of Macra’s new chill-out area, which incorporated a full-time on-site DJ, farm safety demos, and more.

A limited-edition calendar featuring young farmers on the farm, including national president Seán Finan, was unveiled at the event, with copies being sold to visitors to Macra’s stand at the Youth Zone.
