Nutrient efficiency key to success, says Alltech
“Producers must focus on nutrient efficiency and end- product quality as market demand rises, all while identifying the environmental challenges,” said Robert Walker, global general manager, Alltech Crop Science.
Mr Walker is to lead experts available to discuss optimising intensive crop production, in both yield and quality at Macfrut, Italy’s largest fruit and vegetable trade show, which takes place in Rimini Expo Centre this week.
“Our team is eager to meet fruit and vegetable producers at Macfrut to share our trial successes in Italy, France, Spain, Greece and Turkey,” he said.
Alltech, whose European hub is in Dunboyne, Co Meath, will join more than 800 exhibitors at Macfrut.
Mr Walker said a catalyst for growth at a precise time can make all the difference to producers.
“Through Alltech’s global performance range of bio-stimulants and plant activators, crops become more robust and resilient.
“Healthier plants are higher in sugars; production is uniform in size and colour, improving marketable yield.”
