Points race surprises for B Agr applicants

The number of CAO points required to receive a first round offer for the level 8 agricultural science course at UCD has increased by five points, to 470.

The increase comes despite a fall in the number of students choosing agricultural degrees as their first preference college course.

Professor Alex Evans, Dean of Agriculture, UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science said, “While application numbers to many of our programmes reduced this year, the minimum entry CAO points required to enter many of our programmes in round one actually increased.
