Preparations for National Ploughing Championships underway in Ratheniska

Site works have started for next month’s National Ploughing Championships in Ratheniska, Co Laois.

The first of the 25km of tracks are being laid this week on the 700-acre site which has been the venue for the past two years.

Volkswagen is partnering with the National Ploughing Championship as the motoring sponsor for the fifth year in a row.
