Well on the way to 50% milk increase, says Simon Coveney

In the two months since milk quotas were abolished, April and May 2015, a 12.2 % increase in the volume of milk collected was recorded, compared to 2014 (12.76% in May).

“This indicates that we are well on the way to achieving the 50% increase envisaged in Food Harvest 2020,” said Agriculture Minister Simon Coveney.
