Macra news: North on board for neighbour initiative

The first official launch of Macra na Feirme’s Know Your Neighbour initiative in the North took place in Stormont last week.

The Young Farmers’ Clubs of Ulster have come on board to encourage young farmers in the North to host events, making this year’s know Your Neighbour an all-island initiative for the first time.

Roberta Simmons, president of the Young Farmers’ Clubs of Ulster, and Northern Ireland’s minister for agriculture and rural development, Michelle O’Neill, were among those in attendance.
