77 acres at Doneraile

What is aptly described as a “substantial roadside holding” is new to the market with Sherry Fitzgerald O’Donovan auctioneers in Mallow.
77 acres at Doneraile

The 77-acre non-residential farm is located in the townland of Brough — just a couple of kilometres north of Doneraile. There are no entitlements on it.

Sandwiched between the N20 to the west and the N73 to the east, this sizeable but compact holding consists of “top class land,” according to selling agent Michael O’Donovan. Currently the land is in tillage but it would, he says, be suited to any farming activity.

“It’s in three fields,” says the agent, “with access onto two separate roads. They’re all level, with minimal wastage.”

The multiple-point access means that the land can be divided into lots of between 15 and 30 acres. It all has a southerly aspect and is sure to make an impact on a market with a strong appetite for good quality holdings. The price guide of €950,000-€1,000,000 (about €12,500/acre) is certainly not excessive for accessible land of this quality.
