ICA News: Nora Hennessy kept the show on the road at Galbally ICA

On the night two years ago that Galbally ICA Guild came close to disbanding, Nora Hennessy was devastated.

“I got to the meeting, and the other members were around the table with their minds made up. I was very disappointed. I was the only one who wanted to keep it going. The information officer was there, and she told me she’d be in touch.”

When Nora went home that evening, her brother said she simply couldn’t let the guild go, if only for the sake of their late mother, Brigid Ryan.
