Garden centre sales blooming, reveals Bord Bia

THE daffodils are in bloom, lawnmowers are beginning to hum, and garden centres are starting to get busy countrywide for a new season of planting and renewal.

Adding to the fresh vibrancy that comes into the soil at this time each year are the findings of recent market research commissioned by Bord Bia.

The Garden Market Value research, carried out by Ipsos MRBI, showed that the industry is growing in Ireland for the first time since 2011.
