Mark Fenelon takes on leading Teagasc role

Teagasc has appointed Dr Mark Fenelon as head of food research, with a plan to work closely with industry and academic partners.

Still limited by the public sector recruitment embargo, Teagasc had a special sanction to advertise externally. Dr Fenelon emerged from that process. The Teagasc Authority approved the appointment at a meeting yesterday in Tinahely, Co Wicklow.
