64.5 acre farm in Granagh for auction March 19

The holding is in the townland of Doorlus, near the village of Granagh, Co Limerick. Close to Kilmallock, this is a zone dominated by dairy farming, with a good deal of progressive farmers nearby, whose interest will surely be piqued by the upcoming auction.
“This is top-class Golden Vale grazing ground,” says selling agent, John Flynn, of the farm, which doesn’t come with entitlements.
The property does have an old-style dwelling, as well as some dated outbuildings, and the land is divided up into nine fields with its own water supply.
The price is €600,000, or just under €9,400/acre. Given the quality of the land, one would expect that to be exceeded on the day.
