An excellent spell of weather has allowed many to get a lot of field work done.
A good start for grazing

It has been ideal for getting slurry and fertiliser out, ready for a warmer spell when growth might start.

However, take care that slurry is not applied to heavy covers, it will make the sward unpalatable for stock. This also applies to lime application.
