Beef advice: Push on while prices are rising at beef factories

Cattle to be killed out of the sheds this spring are in many cases indoors for 70 to 80 days at this stage — if not longer.

Cattle in general are not thriving very well this winter, due to forage quality being only average.

Even with meal prices representing good value, insufficient volumes are being fed to many stock.
