Dairygold elects chairman

Dairy farmer James Lynch from Sixmilebridge, Co Clare, has been named chairman of Dairygold Co-Op.

He joined the board in 2008 and was its first vice-chair. His was the Dairygold Monitor Farm visited by China’s Premier, Xi Jinping, in 2012.

He replaces Bertie O’Leary. Tom Feeney from Ballyheaphy, Co Cork, is the new vice-chairman. Dairygold chief executive Jim Woulfe is pictured, right, with the two new appointees.
