New Angus champ Missie 535 ends run of Rosemead Karona

The quality of the Aberdeen Angus class at Limerick Show was reflected in the elevation of a new champ to end the successful run of Rosemead Karona J957 — within a forthnight of Karona winning his third successive Univet All-Ireland Angus Championship trophy at Mohill Show.

His owner, Albert de Cogan, Castlemartyr, Co Cork, and another leading exhibitor, Matthew Goulding, Ballyduff, Co Kerry, nearly monopolised the Angus section at Limerick.

Goulding won the Angus bull class, and his Goulding Missie 535 won a cow/heifer class, and was declared female champion.
