The partnership has invited influential business leaders to gather in West Cork to “talk digital” at the third annual offsite event in the Celtic Ross Hotel in Rosscarbery on September 29.

Offsite is a business and technology event aimed to stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship in West Cork. This year the conference will focus on digital innovation in businesses across all sectors, notably tourism and agri-business.

“West Cork is a hub for business and entrepreneurship and we aim to develop that reputation even further with the third annual Offsite event which has been developed to encourage, drive and support the growing business and tech community of West Cork,” said David Tuohy, offsite project lead at the partnership.

Colm O’Regan of @irishmammies will deliver a keynote address on digital media. Discussion panellists will include Joanne Casey, of Glometrics, on strategies for Google Adwords; Newsweaver’s Denise Cox on email marketing; and Aoife Rigney on social media usage in business.

Other speakers will include Fabien Peyaud of cloud-based “mobile CRM for cows” Herdwatch; Pat Phelan of online fraud protection firm Trustev; and Julia Lynes, of hospitality and tourism specialist EazyCity.
