New data on vital farming factor

These are findings in the new SCSI/Teagasc Land Report, a useful addition to independently prepared data on agricultural land prices (because only privately-produced data has been available since the CSO ceased publishing data in 2005).

Launching the report, Teagasc director Professor Gerry Boyle and SCSI Rural Professional Group chairman Trevor McCarthy said land is a vital factor of production in agriculture, and those contemplating buying, selling, or renting land need a good understanding of the market.
