IFA raises Consumer Bill concern for farmers

IFA has submitted amendments to the Competition and Consumer Protection Bill, to address the key concerns of primary producers such as farmers.
IFA raises Consumer Bill concern  for farmers

According to IFA President Eddie Downey, such concerns, especially for fresh produce growers, include the Bill having no requirement for farmers supplying food to companies with a turnover under €50m to have a contract.

IFA has submitted an amendment to replace the €50m with €10m.
