Triplet calves are local VIPs

West Cork farmers Denis and Brid Murray are celebrating the safe arrival of healthy triplet calves.

“The kids love them,” said Brid Murray. “Because we have twins ourselves, they have really taken to them.”

Denis and Brid’s children — Aoife, Rachel, Tadhg and twins Fiachra and Laura — have named the calves Triplets 1, 2 and 3. The trio have gained celebrity status in Kilmurry national school.
