Fine grassland farm suitable for tillage
It is located between three roads, and just off the M8 and the Knockraha road, close to Ryall’s premises.
The property is in one single field and is being disposed of by its owner, a cattle man who’s not locally-based, says Mr Fleming.
It’s under offer at €400,000, he says, and it comes with no waste.
“It’s a very clean piece of land, very level and it comes with cattle pens and crush — it’s very well-provisioned,” he says. Top-quality, the 50-acre field also comes with a central farm roadway and water and ESB connections.
¦ Meanwhile, another 50-acre farm, at Ballinabortagh, near Carrignavar, which was withdrawn at auction at a bid of €275,000, sold some time after the auction for a sum in excess of €300,000.
The 51-acre property included a semi-derelict farmhouse and yard and a mix of good quality and heavy land.
It was bought in trust, but it’s believed a local farmer was the buyer.
