The best new product or innovation at the big LAMMA agri-show in England was the Robocrop Spot Sprayer, also from a Lincolnshire company, Garford Farm Machinery.

The company is well known for its weeder machines with digital cameras which are focused on the crop, attached to a computer that identifies which plant is a weed and which is a crop.

The company’s machines then use electronically directed rotor blades to remove the weeds and leave the crop.
