One holding sold, another comes on the market

A farm at Coolea, Co Cork — which went to final offers recently — has now been sold, through auctioneer, Killian Lynch.

The property, at Milleens, Coolea, came in short of its guide price of €200,000, but is believed to have sold for a sum in the region of €170,000.

A 54-acre holding in the Gaeltacht, it has approximately 20 acres of good, arable ground according to Killian Lynch and the remainder in marginal land. The buyer is believed to be local.
