Grove Turkeys signs €3m deal with Tesco to supply 100,000 birds

Grove Turkeys Ltd has agreed a deal to supply €3m worth of turkeys to Tesco stores across Ireland.

The deal will support the employment of 275 seasonal staff at the Smithborough, Co Monaghan, company.

Grove will supply Tesco Ireland with 100,000 turkeys to meet Christmas demand, all sourced from 10 farms across Ireland.

Grove Turkeys managing director, Tom O Driscoll, said: “We are once again extremely happy that the quality of Grove’s offering has created such huge demand for our turkeys across Tesco’s stores.

Tesco’s Andrew Cunningham added: “Over the last few years we have seen huge demand for Grove Turkey’s products which has seen our partnership with the company go from strength to strength.”
