Farmers desert FG in droves but many are now undecided

According to the Irish Examiner/ICMSA survey on farming attitudes, Enda Kenny’s party would take 37% of the farmer vote if an election was held tomorrow — down from the 63% they took in 2011 when Fine Gael took a record 76 seats.
However, Fine Gael would still enjoy a commanding lead over Fianna Fáil, which would take 18% of the farmer vote if a snap election was called.
