Marybelle Dairy’s Greek-style yogurt from East Anglia has been crowned Supreme Champion in Great Taste 2013, from a record 9,738 entries.
Irish food firms pick up Golden Fork awards

Irish hopefuls had to settle for Golden Fork awards, including best specialities from Ireland (Stonewell’s medium dry cider, made in Nohoval, Co Cork) and Northern Ireland (Hannan Meats’ salt-aged rack of Glenarm Shorthorn beef from Co Down).

The trophy for Small Artisan Producer of the Year went to Corleggy Cheeses of Co Cavan, for their port jelly cheese accompaniment.

A Deli and Farm Shop Signature Dish award went to Simon Dougan’s Yellow Door Bakery in Co Armagh for its braised Irish beef cheek and smoked potato pie.

The Ambient Product of the Year award went to Sea Salted Caramel with Fennel Pollen made by En Place Foods in Northern Ireland.
