Entrepreneur of the Year to head young farmer awards judging panel

Macra na Feirme announced yesterday that Dr Edmond Harty, the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2012, will head the judging panel for the FBD Young Farmer of the Year Awards.

Dr Harty is chief executive and technical director of Dairymaster, the Causeway, company that specialises in the development and manufacture of dairy farm equipment.

Dr Harty will preside at the final adjudication of the competition, in Dunraven Arms Hotel, Adare, Co Limerick, on Sept 3.
