Two choice holdings at affordable prices

With more than half a dozen significant sales in as many months, auctioner Joe McCarthy has two more properties newly listed and both are tidy, affordable properties in two locations in Cork county.

Including a modern farmyard and with six-unit milking parlour and a quota of 117,648 litres, the property is very conveniently located close to Bealnamorrive village, midway between Macroom and Cork City.

The land runs to 20 acres and is in one block, in five paddocks. This is a ready-to-go dairy operation, or an add-on for an existing holding. It may suit a two-generation operation, particularly as the bungalow residence is in good condition and offers generous accommodation close to schools, etc.

The guide price for the private treaty sale is in the region of €375,000 for the entire, although there may be the option to sell the land and the house separately, with a guide of around €12,500 per acre given for the land.
