Huge crowds due to visit Dublin Horse Show

More than 100,000 are expected to flock to this year’s annual Discover Ireland Dublin Horse Show, which is scheduled to run from Wednesday, Aug 7, to Sunday, Aug 11.

It returns to its usual slot after last year’s show ran a week later last year due to the London Olympics.

Some of the country’s many equestrian sports followers gathered in the Champagne Bar in the RDS to announce this year’s dates. The organisers highlighted some social activities taking place along with the sporting events.
