Huge crowds due to visit Dublin Horse Show
It returns to its usual slot after last year’s show ran a week later last year due to the London Olympics.
Some of the country’s many equestrian sports followers gathered in the Champagne Bar in the RDS to announce this year’s dates. The organisers highlighted some social activities taking place along with the sporting events.
The Blossom Hill Ladies’ Day takes place on Thursday, Aug 8. The overall winner will receive a prize of a trip for two to New York worth €8,000, with €1,000 spending money. There are also prizes for other categories including the most colourful outfit, most creative hat, elegance is an attitude, and for stylish men, a Louis Copeland suit for the best dressed man.
Day tickets to this year’s Discover Ireland Dublin Horse Show are priced from €15-€21, with a family pass priced at €54.
