Discussion panel for breeders programme
In its seventh year, the joint venture with Teagasc and Horse Sport Ireland is aimed at those aged 14-25 who are interested in “assessing, exhibiting, and breeding performance horses”.
The launch will take place at Teagasc, Dunsany, Co Meath, at 2pm on Sunday, Dec 9. Attendance at the launch can be pre-booked with Wendy Conlon (087-9879083, wendy.conlon@teagasc.ie). Entry costs €10, payable on the day, with group discounts for pony clubs, schools, colleges, and so on.
Connolly’s Red Mills are again partnering the programme. Participants will undergo training leading up to the national championships in Kildalton College, Kilkenny, on April 20 and world championships in Sweden on Jul 12-14.
