Pharvet take silver award at dairy show

Pharvet (Ireland) Ltd won the silver award for innovation at last Saturday’s National Dairy Show in Millstreet.

The company’s Vel’Phone calving detection and HeatPhone heat detection both use Medria sensors to monitor calving and for heat detection.

The Vel’Phone sensor is placed in the cow’s vagina up to 10 days before the expected calving time.
