Trailer towing licence needed

Farmers at the Ploughing this week are being advised to check that they have the “EB” driver’s licence required for towing a trailer.

If not, they should apply for a provisional licence immediately, and apply to do a special driver test, advised Macra na Feirme president Alan Jagoe.

At the Ploughing, the young farmers and rural youth organisation is highlighting changes to driving licence categories for pulling trailers.
