John Brennan Ballyscanlon, Tramore, Co Waterford, is the breeder of Imperial Cavalier, the mount of team member Mary King, the combination which finished fifth in the Olympics individual eventing.

William Micklem, Annacrivey Stud, Enniskerry, Co Wicklow, is the breeder of High Kingdom, the mount of team member Zara Phillips, Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter, who was eighth in the individual eventing.
