Better prices for lucky Hereford sellers

Calf prices are even higher at selected marts for lucky sellers of Hereford calves.

The Irish Hereford Breed Society is sponsoring a series of Hereford cross calf promotions in the Munster area, where they see their predominant customer base as the dairy farmer.

In a promotion aimed at dairy farmers, breeders have the opportunity to win €100 each for the best crossbred Hereford heifer and bull calf at four mart sales.
